Fire up the smoker and join us for the National Border Patrol Museum’s 2026 BBQ Competition. Compete in Chicken, Pork Ribs, and Cook’s Choice while helping support the museum’s exhibits, educational programs, and collections.

Competition Categories
Chicken
Bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs.
Pork Ribs
Pork spareribs.
Cook’s Choice
Think beyond traditional barbecue. Cook’s Choice is your opportunity to prepare any savory dish on-site, from smoked queso and stuffed jalapeños to your own original creation. Desserts are not permitted.

Cook’s Choice
The Cook’s Choice winner will receive a prize package to be announced closer to the event.
Register Your Team
Registration is $150 per team and includes entry into Chicken, Pork Ribs, and Cook’s Choice. Teams may have up to six members and are responsible for supplying their own competition meats, cooking equipment, tents, tables, and supplies.
